SwiRL was created by Mihai Surdeanu (mihai AT surdeanu DOT info) but it includes software created by other people. Most notably, SwiRL's learning component is based on Xavier Carreras' AdaBoost package. Syntactic parsing is performed using Eugene Charniak's parser.
